Aerial Frame is an Idaho-based FPV drone videography company built around one simple idea: the best way to experience something isn't always from the sidelines.
Using high-speed FPV drones, we capture dynamic, immersive footage that puts viewers right into the action. From monster trucks and motorsports to events, businesses, and unique projects, our goal is to show the things our clients do from a perspective that traditional cameras or drones simply can't provide.
Aerial Frame was created by Dr. Jon Blakeman, a fulltime professor, 19-year Army veteran, and an FAA-certified drone pilot with more than 16 years of flight experience. Our company handles the entire production process, from flying and capturing the footage to stabilization, editing, and final delivery; entirely in-house.
Our specialty is fast-paced FPV cinematography. We combine precise flying with professional post-production to create footage that is exciting to watch while still giving our clients practical content they can use. Deliverables can be provided in both 16:9 and 9:16 formats, making the footage ready for websites, advertising, YouTube, and other social media.

The Aerial Frame Process
From the first conversation to the final delivery, Aerial Frame handles the entire production process in-house. Our goal isn't simply to put a drone in the air, it's to create footage that makes your audience feel like they're in the action.
Step 1
Agreement and Plan
Every project starts with a conversation.
We discuss your event, goals, locations, and the type of footage you're looking for.
Together, we develop a filming plan designed around your event and the shots that will make the biggest impact.
Aerial Frame handles required flight planning, permits, and other necessary preparations when applicable.
Safety is built into every stage of the process, from planning through flight.
The reason: We will both have a clear plan for capturing the footage you actually need while allowing room to adapt when the action changes.
Step 2
FPV Filming
This is where the perspective changes.
Aerial Frame arrives prepared with the equipment and personnel needed for the project.
Before filming begins, our pilot provides a safety brief to everyone involved.
We capture high-speed, immersive FPV footage designed to put the viewer directly into the action.
We remain adaptable throughout the shoot, adjusting to changing conditions and unexpected moments rather than simply following a predetermined shot list.
Our cameras capture 4K 10-bit D-Log M footage, preserving significantly more color information and dynamic range than standard footage.
Question: Why 10-bit D-Log M?
Answer: D-Log M preserves a much wider range of color and exposure information during filming. That gives us considerably more flexibility in post-production to recover highlights, retain detail, balance difficult lighting, and create the exact visual style the project calls for.
In other words: We capture more information in the air so we have more creative control on the ground.
Step 3
Post-Production
Once filming is complete, the footage comes back to the Aerial Frame editing studio.
Every project goes through a professional post-production process that can include:
Gyro-based footage stabilization
Clip selection and editing
Speed changes and slow motion
Color correction
Professional color grading
Framing and composition
Cinematic finishing
Final quality control
We don't simply hand you raw drone footage. We turn the flight into a finished visual product.
Our goal: Footage that looks smooth, intentional, and cinematic while preserving the speed and energy that makes FPV so unique.
Step 4
Delivery
Your finished footage is delivered digitally in high-quality 4K MP4 format.
Delivery is typically completed within two weeks, or sooner when agreed upon.
Videos are provided in both 16:9 landscape and 9:16 vertical formats when applicable.
Multiple finished videos can be provided depending on the project.
Photos can also be included when agreed upon.
Files are delivered through Google Drive links.
The result: Whether you're using the footage for your website, advertising, YouTube, social media, or future promotional projects, you'll receive finished visual content ready to use.
